§ Mr. Eldon GriffithsThe quantities and types of plastic bottles and containers at present found in house refuse can ordinarily be disposed of satisfactorily in a modern incinerator or in a properly controlled tip. Research is being carried out at the University of Aston on the degradation of plastic material, and work on this subject has been or is being done in several other countries.
