HC Deb 04 April 1973 vol 854 cc98-9W
Mr. Robert Cooke

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, in the public interest, he will review his stocks of branta ruficollis and indicate, in so far as considerations of security permit, the whereabouts of this Government property.

Mr. Rippon

I fear that my hon. Friend may have confusedbranta rufi-collis with branta canadensis, stocks of which do, I can reveal, exist in St. James's Park. If my hon. Friend has spotted any red-breasted migrants from beyond the Ob perhaps he will tell me where and I will offer them asylum.
