§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what action he has taken concerning the recommendations in the Second Report of the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution that he should consult the Confederation of British Industry to revise measures which will increase the availability and flow of information on the disposal of wastes into rivers, with particular reference to amendment of Section 12 of the Rivers (Prevention of Pollution) Act, 1961.
