asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is his estimate for the total number of people now eligible to benefit under the invalid vehicle service.

At the end of March, 1972, about 31,000 invalids were provided with powered invalid three-wheelers or alternative services. It is too soon to judge how many more people will be eligible for help following the changes announced by my right hon. Friend on 21st February.—[Vol. 831, c. 934–6.]
