§ 47. Sir B. Rhys Williamsasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will now take further steps to give financial assistance to the provision of after-care facilities for patients discharged from full-time hospital care.
§ Mr. AlisonThe Government announced last November, in Cmnd. 4829, "Public Expenditure to 1975–76 ", increased financial provision over the next four years for the health and personal social services, which embrace after-care facilities provided by local authorities. Forecasts of current expenditure by local authorities on these services will be taken into account in the rate support grant negotiations this year.
