§ Mr. Ashtonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will introduce a Bill to amend the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act, 1963, to prevent bookmakers from conducting betting inside cricket grounds either on cricket, horse racing, or any other sport.
§ Mr. CarlisleThe law already imposes restrictions on activities of this kind. I shall watch current developments to see whether those restrictions are observed and are adequate.
