§ Mr. Stratton Millsasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will authorise the printing of a second edition of the booklet "The Terror and the Tears," the first edition of which was published by the Northern Ireland Government and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. David HowellThe booklet to which the hon. Member refers has been widely circulated not only within the United Kingdom but also abroad. Its purpose has been to show the human suffering caused by acts of terrorism in Northern Ireland and it has row served that purpose with great effect.
We have no plans to authorise a further edition. We intend, however, to continue to take every opportunity to make known the full effect of terrorist atrocities in Northern Ireland.
