HC Deb 02 May 1972 vol 836 cc85-6W
71. Miss Lestor

asked the Secretary of State for Employment to what extent the criteria used in his decision to invoke the Industrial Relations Act against the railwaymen's go-slow and work to rule apply to the British European Airways pilots' dispute.

Mr. Chichester-Clark:

The effects of the BEA pilots' dispute so far are not such as to justify using the emergency procedures under the Act.
