§ 73. Mr. Fred Evansasked the Secretary of State for Employment what is the latest percentage of male unemployment in the following employment exchange areas, namely, Pontlottyn, Bargoed, Ystrad Mynach and Caerphilly.
§ Mr. Dudley Smith:At 10th April the rate of male unemployment in the Bargoed travel-to-work area, which comprises the Bargoed, Blackwood, Pontlottyn, and Ystrad Mynach Employment Exchange areas was 11.9 per cent. The corresponding figure for the Cardiff travelto-work area, which includes Caerphilly, was 7 per cent.
