asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they are now able to announce support for the setting up of a Volunteer Centre, as recommended in the Ayes Report.

VISCOUNT COLVILLE OF CULROSS

I am very glad to say that the Government have accepted the recommendation and are prepared to make a grant-in-aid towards the setting up of the Volunteer Centre and its work over the next five years.
