§ Mr. Nicholas RidleyIn its Report, which the Government are now considering, the Committee on Consumer Credit drew attention to the difficulties of concern to my hon. Friend and proposed new legislation to help in protecting the consumer. If my hon. Friend has in mind any particular instance of difficulty, perhaps he would send me the details so that we may take them into account. I do not consider that issuing a Press notice would have any continuing effect.
