§ Mr. John Fraserasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table showing the annual amount payable, or estimated to be payable, to each local authority in England and Wales for the housing subsidies enumerated in Parts I and II of the Seventh Schedule to the Housing Finance Bill, together with the number of dwellings in the housing revenue account of each of those authorities, and the respective totals.

Certain information about housing subsidies and numbers of dwellings in the housing revenue account in respect of local authorities in England and Wales is available in "Housing Statistics" published by the Institute of Municipal Treasurers and Accountants. Copies of the latest statistics available, for the financial year 1969–70, are in the Library.
