§ Mr. Cantasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what is his policy towards the use of Section 109 of the Companies Act, 1967, in which he is given authority to restrict that Section's use to the purposes specified in Section 111.
§ Mr. RidleyThe policy is to use where appropriate the powers given by Section 109 of the Companies Act, 1967, to obtain information. Such information can only be disclosed for the purposes set out in Section 111 of the Companies Act, 1967.
