§ Mr. Proudfootasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he can now make a further statement on the review of the fixed rate export credit arrangements.
§ Mr. HigginsAs my right hon. Friend told the House on 26th January, the Government have been reviewing the whole matter of the export finance arrangements. This review has now reached a stage at which it will be useful to hold technical discussions with the London and Scottish Clearing Banks and a working party has been set up for his purpose with membership drawn from the clearing banks, the Bank of England and the Government Departments concerned.— [Vol. 810. c. 305.]
