§ Mr. DeanThe cost of the national advertising campaign to encourage the take up of free milk, school meals, prescriptions, welfare foods, optical treatment and free dental treatment was £200,000. The money has been spent on Press, television, posters and direct mail. A further £80,000 has been spent on booklets, leaflets, forms, etc. in connection with both the above benefits and the Family Income Supplement.
