§ Mr. Matherasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans he has for rehousing the Patent Office and its library.
§ Mr. AmeryThe immediate plan is to concentrate the Patent Office in fewer buildings. Eventually, it will be rehoused in a suitably designed building in central London. The Library, now the National Reference Library of Science and Invention, will be rehoused with the British Museum Library on the Bloomsbury site.
