§ Mr. Gordon CampbellRegular monitoring has been carried out in the vicinity of the Hunterston nuclear power station since before its commissioning. This covers milk, the critical item in the food chain, from farms up to a radius of six miles from the station, and also fish, shellfish and seaweed from the seaward side of the station. The monitoring has shown no signficant changes in radioactive levels.
