§ Mr. Clinton Davisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT particulars of the number of applications for legal aid granted and refused at each of the courts in the Middlesex area, during 1969, in respect of committal proceedings, summary proceedings and trial on indictment, respectively.
§ Mr. CarlisleThe particulars are as follows:
establishment of a British Food and Drug Institute to collect, collate and evaluate all the relevant data on the condition and content of all foods and drink consumed in Great Britain.
§ Mr. PriorArrangements have been made for the collection, collation and evaluation of the results of the monitoring programme I announced on 19th January. No case for a British Food and Drug Institute has been established.
