asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is now in a position to respond to Ayr County Council's request for grant aid towards the landscaping of the Kames Colliery Bing at Muirkirk.

Yes. I am informing the County Council that their, proposals for landscaping this bing are approved in principle for grant aid.
