asked the Prime Minister if he will seek to make an official visit to East Africa to acquaint himself with the problems of British passport holders there.

It is not necessary to do so because I am well aware of the problems facing both Her Majesty's Government and the East African Governments with whom our High Commissioners are regularly in touch.
