§ Mr. Loveridgeasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will now site the new building for the Public Record Office near to the existing office, rather than at Kew, in order to prevent the separation of records needed for research.
§ Mr. AmeryNo. Consultation is still in progress between the Public Record Office and the principal organisations representing research interests. At present the Public Record Office proposes to store in the Chancery Lane repository the records for which it was built.
