124. Earl of Dalkeithasked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many bankruptcies or sequestrations have occurred in the building and construction industry in Scotland in each of the last five years; and whether he can give any figures of the numbers of employees affected thereby.
§ Mr. AmeryI regret that in general separate figures are not available for construction firms in Scotland involved in bankruptcies or sequestrations. There is limited information available on registered companies for 1969 and 1970 which, with permission, I will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
