asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what was the expenditure during the last convenient financial year on new housing construction by each of the following county boroughs, namely, Bath, Blackburn, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Bristol, Burnley, Leicester, Oxford, Portsmouth, Preston, Southampton and Southport.
