§ Mr. Michael Cocksasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the duty to be levied on imported meat will be paid at landing or on warehouse release.
§ Mr. HigginsDuty on imported meat may be paid either at importation or, if the meat has been entered for deposit in a bonded warehouse, at the time of delivery from warehouse. It is proposed that similar arrangements should be made for payment of import levies on beef and veal.
