§ 59. Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he intends to announce his proposals for new trunk roads within Greater London prior to receiving the findings of the panel of the Greater London Development Plan Inquiry.
§ Mr. Graham PageYes. The addition of schemes to the preparation pool is part of the normal trunk road planning process. Whilst the Greater London Development Plan is under consideration I will continue to authorise Greater London road schemes only where they stand on their merits, independently of the Plan.
