§ Mr. Juddasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will make a progress report on plans for British participation in the United Nations volunteer programme.
§ Mr. WoodPlans for the operation of the United Nations volunteers scheme are being worked out by the United Nations Development Programme. I cannot say what form our participation in the scheme may take until the plans have been considered by the British volunteer programme and my Department.
