§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, in view of the evidence in his possession of the inner-urban rail transport scheme in metropolitan Toronto operated by the Government of Ontario and known as GO trains, he will initiate steps within his Department on its application in this country.
§ Mr. PeytonUrban transportation is basically the responsibility of the local authorities concerned. The potential of rail commuter services, of which GO trains are but one example, has been taken into account in the transportation studies conducted here.
