Mr. Fauldsasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he intends to continue the provision of public funds to the British Association for Commercial and Industrial Education, for industrial exchanges for young people to work and study abroad; and whether he will increase this assistance.
§ Mr. NobleWe intend to provide B.A.C.I.E. with funds during 1971–72 for a pilot scheme for the exchange of industrial and commercial trainees between this country and France and Germany. If the scheme is successful additional funds for its expansion should be available in 1972–73.
