Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for the Environment by how much he estimates housing subsidies to 99W local housing authorities will be reduced as a result of the Housing Finance Bill over the next 10 years; and by how much he estimates that mortgage interest tax relief to owner-occupiers will increase over the same period.
§ Mr. AmeryIt is not expected that the total subsidies payable to local authorities in England and Wales under the Housing Finance Bill will be below their present level.
