§ Mr. Dudley SmithSince the numbers and types of job opportunities which arise in any area by a given date depend upon various unforeseeable factors—for example, decisions by individual employers—I regret that I am unable to make the detailed estimate for which the hon. Member asks. However, I expect his constituency to benefit from the extensive measures we have taken both to stimulate the national economy and to encourage industrial expansion in the development areas.
