§ Mr. Bishopasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he will encourage employers in the private and 324W public sectors to provide maternity benefits and facilities at least equal to those granted to women in the Civil Service.
§ Mr. BryanArrangements for and improvements to maternity benefits are best made through the usual processes of collective bargaining and I have no plans to intervene on these questions.
