HC Deb 29 October 1970 vol 805 c183W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will obtain from chief constables reports on the extent to which their forces keep records of persons not convicted of any crime, as has recently been done by the Devon police.

Mr. Sharples

My right hon. Friend is well aware of the procedures normally followed by the police, and sees no occasion for any special inquiry.
