71. Miss Quennell

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether the liquidator of Messrs. Pinnock Finance Company Limited has now communicated with all creditors; and whether he is now in a position to proceed to a distribution.

72. Mr. McBride

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if the liquidator of Messrs. Pinnock Finance Company Limited has completed his examination of this company's affairs; and when constituents of the hon. Member for Swansea, East affected by this liquidation can expect to share in a distribution.

Mr. Ridley

The liquidator hopes very shortly to apply to the court for leave to make an interim distribution to the creditors. He hopes in about two weeks' time to write to them.

Mr. Carter-Jones

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when he expects the creditors of Messrs. Pinnock Finance Company Limited to receive further information; when a distribution of remaining resources can be expected; and if he will make a statement.

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave to the hon. Members for Petersfield (Miss Quennell) and Swansea, East (Mr. McBride) today.

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry on what date he received a communication from the hon. Member for West Ham, North, enclosing documents by an individual whose name has been sent to him concerning matters connected with the Pinnock Finance Company Limited; and whether he will arrange to meet a deputation of Members of Parliament with constituency interest in this question and the individual concerned to discuss this matter.
