HC Deb 09 November 1970 vol 806 cc33-4W
102. Mr. Golding

asked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications why the British delegation voted against the proposal to allow the international trade union organisation postal, telegraph and telephone international observer status at the European Conference of Posts and Telecommunications Administrations.

Mr. Chataway

The proposal referred to was defeated in a secret ballot by fourteen votes to eight, with two abstentions. It is not the practice to disclose how British delegations vote in such circumstances.
