HC Deb 02 November 1970 vol 805 cc256-7W
Mr. John

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) upon what date it is estimated that Aberthaw B power station will now come into full operation; and upon what date it was first intended to do so;

(2) whether he is satisfied that the capital expenditure upon the maintenance of plant at Aberthaw A power station has been and will remain at a level which will not render the reconversion to coal burning, should the need arise, financially impracticable; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Ridley

Both raise matters within the Central Electricity Generating Board's day-to-day management responsibilities and I am asking the Chairman to write to the hon. Member about them.
