HC Deb 29 May 1970 vol 801 c638W
Mrs. Knight

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many married men with children under school-leaving age are currently affected by the wage stop.

Mr. Ennals:

The latest figures available are taken from a special inquiry made in November, 1969. The total number of claimants affected by the wage stop was then 34,000, and of these claimants 33,397 had children under school-leaving age.
