§ Mr. Edward Short:The percentages of leavers from schools in England and Wales in the academic years 1960–61 and 1968–69 who intended to enter all types of full-time further and higher education were 14.1 and 20.8 respectively.
NOTE: Figures cover universities, colleges of education and all full-time courses at further education establishments. They are based on a 10 per cent. sample survey of all leavers.
