§ Dr. Winstanleyasked the Minister of Transport on what date he intends to convene the meeting between officials of his Department, local authority representatives and other interested persons, referred to in his letter of 16th February to the hon. Member for Cheadle, regarding the proposed A6 diversion at Hazel Grove.
Mr. Bob Brown:As I explained to the hon. Member in my letter of 26th May, I will arrange a meeting as soon as one can usefully be held. The way in which this scheme can be fitted into the overall road pattern needs further consideration.
