§ Mr. Onslowasked the Secretary of State for Defence, whether all those who already held contracts for swill from messes in the Aldershot Garrison were invited to submit tenders for the five-year term as from 1st January, 1970; and if any who were omitted from the invitation were notified of this and given an opportunity to appeal against their exclusion.
§ Mr. Richard:Yes. All messes within Aldershot Garrison are covered by one swill contract. The previous contractor 345W was invited to tender for and did, in fact, win the five-year contract dating from 1st January, 1970.
