HC Deb 14 May 1970 vol 801 c344W
Mr. Stratton Mills

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what arms have been intercepted entering Northern Ireland by the Army; and if he will take steps to intensify the measures for intercepting such arms shipments.

Mr. Richard:

It is not the practice to give the type of information requested in the first part of this Question. Steps have been taken to intensify measures for intercepting arms shipments; e.g. 797 cars were searched in one county on the night of 12th-13th May without any arms being found.
