§ 48. Sir G. de Freitasasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for a report from the chief constable on the strength of the police force in Northamptonshire, including the City of Northampton, on 1st October, 1964 and 1st October, 1969, respectively.
§ Mr. Elystan Morgan:The total strength of the Northampton County and Northampton City forces on 30th September, 1964 was 587. Theye were combined on 1st April, 1966, and by 30th September, 1969 their strength had increased to 651.
