HC Deb 14 May 1970 vol 801 cc351-2W
Mr. Bessell

asked the Prime Minister why Her Majesty's Government have refused to release for research or publication official documents relating to the assassination of Czar Nicholas II and his family, in view of the 30 year rule policy on such papers.

The Prime Minister:

All the documents in the possession of Her Majesty's Government relating to the assassination of Czar Nicholas II and his family were opened to the public with other records relating to the First World War on 10th February, 1966.
