§ Mr. Brooksasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT the number of persons who died aged 90 years or over during the decade 1960–69 and the comparable totals for each of the two previous decades.
§ Mr. Crossman:I regret that the information is not yet available for 1969. For the period 1960–68 the number was 207,640 in England and Wales. Comparable figures for 1940–48 and 1950–58 (when the populations at risk were smaller) are 85,074 and 138,330.
