asked the Minister of Technology how many industrial development certificates he has issued in the borough of Bedford during the past 12 months; and how many square feet this represented.

Mr. Varley:

From 1st April, 1969, to 31st March, 1970, 10 industrial development certificates for 207,000 square feet were issued in the Bedford Employment Exchange area.
