Mr. Wiggin

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government in how many planning inquiries in the last year he has delayed giving a decision longer than six months after the date of the inquiry.

Mr. Greenwood:

In the period ended 31st March, 1970, out of a total of 3,098 planning appeals decided following a local inquiry, the period was exceeded in 155 cases.
