asked the Minister of Transport what was the extent of the studies made in the years subsequent to 1963, and in particular 1966, on the Channel Tunnel.

Mr. Murray:

Since 1963 the British and French Governments have carried out a wide range of studies as part of the process of project definition. In 1966 they revised the forecasts of costs, traffic and revenue that were made for the 1963 White Paper.
