Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he will publish a table of figures giving the number of new schools completed in each year from January, 1965, to January, 1970, the number of school places provided, and the amount spent for these purposes in these years, giving the comparisons with the previous five years and showing, in the case of the financial figures, the value on the basis that the £ sterling in 1960 was worth 20s. and allowing for depreciation in each subsequent year.
