HC Deb 01 May 1970 vol 800 cc401-2W
Mr. Pavitt

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when he ex- pects that the new school in Donnington Road, Willesden, will be started; when he anticipates schooling will commence; what will be the number of places available; and if he will make a statement.

Miss Bacon:

This school is included in the current starts programme. There have been certain site difficulties which the Authority hopes to resolve shortly. Subject to this the Authority expect building work to start next June and to complete in August, 1971. The new school should open therefore in September, 1971, and will provide accommodation for 280 juniors and infants.
