asked the Minister of Transport how many motor vehicles there were in Ross and Cromarty Council area and in the Isle of Lewis, respectively, in 1964; and how many there are at present.

In the whole of Ross and Cromarty there were 12,990 vehicles in 1964 and 15,880 in 1969. Separate figures for the Isle of Lewis are not available.
