Mr. Snow

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he is aware that the Staffordshire Local Education Authority plans to transfer daily numbers of children attending the Springfield Primary School, Lichfield, to St. Mary's School, where traffic conditions in Bird Street are such as to cause disquiet to parents; and if he will give an appropriate direction under Section 68 of the Education Act, 1944.
